It depends, sometimes I start with a loose idea and iterate. Often I'm just trying to learn something and as I go different ideas pop up. Just dedicating time and beginning down a path is the best way for me.
I use AI (text to images) to create a lot of work or sometimes mix 3D works with AI, For example to add a smile to a 3D character. Nfts are a great way for artists to distribute their work and earn money. It comes down to your audience and supporters as to whether or not that works. It's difficult to sell art through any medium in my experience.
AI is incredible and will impact every area of our lives. Something I would have never considered years ago is that it is infinitely creative. It can take a few words and infinitely generate variations. I honestly believe those that don't embrace it will be left behind. I don't think we have ever in human history been confronted with such a transformative and rapidly evolving field of technology.
I am working on an AI exhibition at the moment that explores the impact of AI on photography. Is Photography Dead? Collaborating with various artists from my past life as a fashion & beauty photographer. I love this new way to collaborate with people and sharing ideas to create images.
Also I created a collection of NFTS with gorjs.io recently along with 8 other incredible artists. I love this idea of using nfts to create community and support/incubate 3D artists. It was a massive challenge to create this volume of work and I had to learn a lot of new skills along the way. But I'm happy with the resulting images.
